That's about right??

what does " that's about right" mean? I know what ' that's right' mean, but what does ' that's about right' mean?

It means 'That's more or less correct' — it may not be perfectly correct.

A: 'I guess you've been to New York 20 times, haven't you?

B: 'That's about right'. (If I figured it out exactly it could be 18 times or 22.)
