Allow someone to mistreat you, then defend them and take the blame yourself. Example, “Dad is in a bad mood; he yelled at me. It's my fault that/as I asked a stupid question.


I wonder if which sentence is correct.

I would like to know the meaning of "that and as" grammatically.

1. It's my fault that I asked a stupid question.

2. It's my fault as I asked a stupid question.
