THAT WAY vs SO THAT

Can you please tell me if you can you use THAT WAY like this? and does it make sense to

  • 1 When putting books back on the shelf make sure to leave room between some of the book in case you ever have to put another book away, that way you do have to displace everything.

  • 2 Open the can as wide as possible so that/that way the liquid will flow out quicker.

  • 3 If someone is cold please tell me so that/that way I can close the window

  • 4 I’m going to explain to him what it is we do here, that way in my absence she can take over.

  • 5 I’ll try to finish as fast as can, that way/so that I can move on to other things.

Thank you
