That wants-> wanting

1) I know some students wanting to be a teacher.

2) Tom, wanting to be a teacher, will come here.

3) I met Tom, wanting to be a teacher.

1) and 2) are okay but 3) is not okay to you? I really hope to hear from you again. Please help me out. Thank you and have a good day.

Your #3 was not possible because it was ambiguous as to who wants to be a teacher, 'Tom' or 'I'.
