That their

ow that their work is done, they're all set for an adventure in the park."
I read this sentence in my son's Paw Petrol book.
What parts of speech of "that" Here? Is "Now that... is done," a phrase or a clause?
Thanks

I would say that "now that" is a conjunction. I'm not sure there's much benefit in assigning a part of speech to "that" alone. "their work is done" is a clause.

What is the subject and a verb in "now that their work is done"? The sentence looks passive to me. Thanks.

Subject: "their work". Verb: "is".

In this case "done" is an adjective, meaning "finished", "completed".
