"That plane travels more comfortably."

Are both correct? Or only the second sentence?:

"That plane travels more comfortably."

"That plane travels more comfortable."

"That plane travels more comfortably" sound a bit strange to me. Perhaps you mean "That plane is more comfortable to travel on".

The original is correct even if it sounds strange to you. And it does mean exactly what you say it means.

I hesitate to call it a middle construction, but it does seem to share some characteristics of that structur
