In that sentence, sulfurous cloud that no stomach can tolerate for long.

that no stomach can tolerate for long is a relative clause, and that refere to cloud. But in that clause, is that (cloud) is the direct object? what the stomach can tolerate? the cloud?

I need to find a an adjectival clause in the text where the pronoun is the object of the clause.

Here is the whole sentence :

Piping up here and there, rising out of the basin to form an erosive volcanic fog-called "vog"- are thick-veiled sulufrous clouds that no stomach can tolerate for long.
