"That kind of articles"

Is it grammatically correct to say "that kind of arcticles" as a transposition of the phrases "articles of that kind"?

For example:

5 times out of 7 that kind of articles are written after someone has had a little too much to drink.

It's "that kind," or "those kinds."

Anonymousso "that kind of articles" would be fine then?
Sorry, Anon, I slipped a cog.

This is always a messy subject.
"That kind of article (singular)" would be fine.
"Those kinds of articles" would be fine.

I've heard arguments allowing other combinations, but I'm not persuaded.
I'd say the numbers need to agree.
