In my written test in english I've written "Tom and Veit (That's the names of the characters)" instead of "Tom and Veit (These are the names of the characters)" which my english teacher wrote. Now, as I made a lot of these "mistakes", I was trying to find examples for what I had written, as I was shure I had already read it somewhere, but I couldn't find anything for this one, so if anybody knows something, please reply (that could change my grade).
It should be "these", not "These". "that's" is not properly correct because you are referring to two items. It is possible that someone might use "that's" in such a case in informal conversation or informal writing, and it would not stand out as a glaring error.
