That is...

Hi,

The boss lays emphasis on punctuality. In other woreds/That is/To put it differently, you'd better not be late for work.'

Could we use 'that is' or 'to put it differently' instead of 'in other words' in the case?
What is their subtle difference if any?

Thanks a lot.
