That day I went ......... and treated all of my friends

Suddenly a surprise and shocking thing happened to me, and I was so much excited that I went out of my control and spend $$ to all of my friends and thus enjoyed a lot.

Here is a sentence to express that :

That day I went .............. and treated all of my friends to wines, etc. etc. worth $500.

Please correct my sentence and fill up the blank with an appropriate word too. I guess it could be "frenzy" but "frenzy" sounds as if I went wild and hit the people around me.

"Frenzy" is a noun, not an adjective. You could use "frantic", but it doesn't really fit... How about "I let myself go", or "I pulled all the stops"?
