"That book talks about what you could do to make a difference to the world."

That book talks about what you could do to make a difference to the world.

I think the way this sentence is phrased makes it informal (e.g. the word 'what') . How would you phrase it in a more formal way?

Thanks

I think that what makes it informal is ' talks about' . If you change that to ' discusses ', it seems formal enough.
