This is said by a sailer after a victory in a match race. Have I used the words properly?
In the first part of the regatta we have noted a number of victories thanks to good starts, but the semi-final against Paolo Cian were much tougher and we were aware that by making a single mistake we could have jeopardized everything we had achieved up to then.
