'''thanks to''' and its harmony

Hi Teacher!

I have a problem the meaning of thanks to .I am confused..Can we use this phrases in negativ sentences?

For example; ^^When i tried to do my homework,my sister disturbed me..Thank to my sister i couldn't do my homework.^^
If i say this sentence, Am i reproaching to my sister and speaking sarcastically of her..i mean,Do i want to tell my sister that; ^You came my room spoke a lot and disturbed me so i couldn't do my homework...THANK YOU!!!^

Could you explain that?
