The diagram beneath illustrate information about honey-bee colonies and the production of honey.

Overall, the number of honey-bee colonies reached a peak in 1990 then decreased slightly. There was a fluctuation in the number of honey production from 1970 to 2010.

In 1970, 4 millions of honey-bee in the us. this went up to roughly under 4.5 millions and reached a peak in 1980.Then, the number of honey-bee colonies dropped moderately, with about 3.5 millions in 1990, in 2000 it was approximately haft of the bees in 1980. Finally, just under 2 millions was the number of honey-bee colonies in 2010.

From 1970 to 1980, there was a slight fell in the number of the production of honey from 130000 tonnes to 110000 tonnes. Then, this rose slowly to about 120000 tonnes in 1990. However, after 1990s the number of honey production went down again by 20000 tonnes in 2000 and dropped dramatically to 70000 tonnes in 2010.
