Thanks Clive! (do do) here! I thought it was correct. But?

How do you specify the (do's)? Is one an adverb and the other a verb? Or are they redundant? Another example is "that".... I'm pretty sure it can also be used consecutively. I just can't for the life of me explain why. Lastly, are there other words?

Hi Anon; You can get 2 do 's in a sentence if one is the helping verb and the other is the main verb. Question: How do you do? Emphasis with imperative: Do not do it!
