Hello all,Could you explain me do I have the other form of my gratitude for you here except my thanks?I mean to give my teachers some 'plus' or 'point' or 'feedback' or it works automatically?Thanks

Hello I am an English learner that come from Hong Kong. Hopefully there will be no grammatical mistakes.

First of all, I asked this question before as same as yours which is about the other expressions of my gratitude. Actually I cannot understand what you said in the second sentence...Sorry maybe my English skills are poor.

Just be careful not to use the over-formal expressions like "you have my gratitude". You can say "I'm (very) grateful" and "I (really) appreciate that", but go easy, or you'll end up sounding not 'flash' but pompous.

It is very nice to know that you appreciate the work we do here - we're all volunteers

I think that the best thing you can do is to individually thank the teachers after you have received an answer that has helped you. Many students say "thanks in advance" in their initial post, and this is a nice thing. Yet, as teachers, we never really know if we have helped someone until they actually say thank you after we have given an answer.
Personally, when I get a thank you response to an answer I have taken time to construct, it makes my day.

If you wish to express your appreciation to someone, you can click the '+ Like' link that appears just below that person's reply/post. It is visible when you place the mouse pointer over the reply/post. After you click the '+ Like' link a box pops out. Click '+' to express your cast a vote in favour of the person else click '-' to show disapproval.
