I'm currently a student of a University Institute of Technology in France, and my english teacher ask me to know what are the different ways to say "thank you" ... But, she wants a particulary word, because I said Thanks, Thank U, Cheers ... and she waits an other word. She have told, it's a word more vulgar than "thanks" ...
Do U have any idea ???
Thanks

If by vulgar, you just mean more common usage, maybe you are looking for something I believe the British say, and that is "Ta."
I can't think of any other versions of it from the U.S. In writing, one might use appreciation, or gratitude, or grateful, etc., but that doesn't sound like what she is looking for.
