Thank you note for sympathy card and flowers

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help editing the following wordings. I lost my dad last month and my colleagues presented me with a sympathy card and some flowers. Could you please let me know if the following thank you sentence sounds okay...thanks very much.



"Dear All,

Thank you for the beautiful flowers and sympathy card during my time of sadness.

Your thoughtfullness and kind words are of great comfort to me.

Sincerely, "

Hi Tania, I'm sorry to hear about the death of your father. This must be a hard time for you. ) You could also say that they were of great comfort to me, but leaving it as "are" is okay because it still makes you feel good to think of it.

I'm sorry to hear about the death of your father. This must be a hard time for you.

You would be fine sending it as-is, but I would suggest just putting a period after "card." (I expect you still feel pretty sad.) You could also say that they were of great comfort to me, but leaving it as "are" is okay because it still makes you feel good to think of it.
