Thank you letter to the President/CEO of my employment
Im hoping you guys can help?
Its been a month now and Im trying to think how I can thank the CEO of the company I work at, at the same time, I want him to know how much I care about the company.
It was extremely humbling for me have to ask the President/CEO of one of the fastest growing companies in the US if he would write a letter on my behalf.
To make a long story short, He was the deal breaker on me getting my home or not. Once & a lifetime community housing offer came my way, but my work history was to short. The bank asked me if I could get a letter of recondmendation from the CEO? I was shaking in my boots! lol. Very humbling!
If he did not write a letter, my family & I would of had to wait 2 years for my work history & credit to build back up. My marrige was on thin Ice, so he saved my family as well!!!
Anyway, Im terrible at writing letters. I have this letter all scrambled around. Please help!?!
Can you please edit this letter as I would like all employees to read because I want to recommend the CEO for the "Employee Value Award" (Its for employees to vote for other employees that are hard working, kind, caring, funny, etc, etc.) I think it would be funny for the CEO to get this award.
Thanks!
P.S. If you think I should take a few sentences out, please do. If you have some other good words to express my appreciation, please do. Thanks again
Dear President "His Name" (or Dear Mr. President)
With my heartfelt thanks and feelings, I want to express my genuine gratitude for your personal interest in helping my family and I obtain our dream home. The letter you had written on my behalf was incredible. It was the deal breaker for us obtaining our new home. I wish there was some way I could repay you. We are truly grateful.
I am having so much fun at "Company Name". It truly is a wonderful company and I will strive to make it even better. A few years back, before we made this big move to Florida from Massachusetts, I had a very successful career with a small manufacturing/wholesale company as the Sales & Production Supervisor. After a seven year career in management, the company downsized due to the economic downturn and my position was eliminated. Leaving was extremely difficult because of the many relationships that I had built with colleagues. Shortly after, my wife lost her outside sales job after 8 years. Long story short, this was the time to move and to be closer to family, and decided to do so last summer.
I could have not found a better company to be apart of. My future goals are to manage somewhere on the production floor or contiue what I know best, whitch is Sales. I want you to know that I truly believe in this company and I will do what ever it takes to make you proud. Everyday I step on the production floor, I think about what you and "Company Name" have done for me. This is so very hard for me to express my sincere gradituted in words or in writing.
I am so blessed to be part of the "Company Name" team and it's really a great opportunity to be working with you. Again, Thank you for your kindness and for making me feel like a valued member of this organization. I look forward to a long and prosperous-(or productive) career with "Company Name". May God bless you and your family.
Yours Sincerely,
"My Name"
