Thank you letter to my boss

I am writting a letter to my boss, to thank him as i will reallocate to other section. Can someone help to check on this letter? Thanks.

Dear XX

I am so glad to be part of the ICT and having the opportunity to work under XX.Thank you for yoursupport, guidance, encouragement and opportunities provided to me during my time in ICT.

I really impressed with XX leadership, superior knowledge and visionary. I am still able to recall how XX present and answered in the Management Meeting, how XX lead all of us moving forward etc.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any wrongdoing which i make unintentionally.

I hope I will still have a change to work under XX in future.

do not begin your sentences with "I" It is better to speak in 3rd person than focus on "I"...

The general apology is suggestive of insecurity. If there's a specific for which you actually feel the need to aplogize, then it would be polite to include the circumstance. Remember that your "boss" is also a person, and that any addressing should be made as an equal. Otherwise, it is very professional to write this letter, and keep up the good intentions.
