Thank you letter

Dear Mr.John,

I would like to thank you for introducing me to that company during my job searches.
Now, it is not easy to find a company like this: nice workplace, hardworking colleagues, talented manager. I got many valuable experiences when working in this place. I'm happy to report that I'm in line for manager promotion in about 6 months.
Again, thank you very much. I greatly appreciate your generosity.

Respectfully yours,
Jiyeon-Park

Overall, very nice! Sometimes, "that" or "this place" can have a slightly negative connotation. It's not easy to explain when it does.

I would change it slightly to include the name of the company. For example, let's say the company name was "Acme". Also, is "John" a first name or last name"? It sounds like a first name. L
