If you were in the hospital, your friends came to visit you. What should your friends reply?

A: Thank you for visiting me.

F: You're welcome.

(It sounds weird to say, You're welcome.?) What are the others way to reply?

That's a rather limp response considering the situation.

You could try "We were glad to do it", and if it's not a matter of a terminal illness or anything really serious, you could try some mild humor along the lines of "We had to visit you because you couldn't very well v
