If I could change one important thing about my hometown, I would change the qualities of residential environment because I feel that my residential environment has been polluted by inhabitant and near factories.

The majority of inhabitant who live in my hometown don’t understand how to protect residential environment. First of all, when talking a short walk on the sidewalk, they get used to throw out their garbage. What is worst, I ever seen a person driven a truck to dump garbage on the land at midnight, which made me depressed and uncomfortable. Although the province of city has made a law and enforce it, resident still don’t obey the law and continue polluting my residential environment.

In addition, more and more high-polluted factories are located in near my hometown. For instance, most of the factories, which produce plastic products, emit great amount of effluent on the river as well as polluted air to destroy the qualities of my residential environment. These effluent and polluted air contain too much of toxic materials. As a matter of fact, the poisonous materials have a potential threat to not only be detrimental to people’s health but also ruin my residential environment.

In summary, if I could change just one important thing about my hometown, it would certainly to be quality of residential environment. I wish those who live in my hometown can abandon the bad habit of throwing out garbage at random. Moreover, I would move the high-polluted factories from near my residential environment to another industry area. If I had ability to do these things, my hometown would be a much more comfortable and pleasant to live.
