Thank you Boss

Dear Friend,

i have been working so many hours at work as one of the team member left the company and that left a huge gap to fill in. my manager called me in and gave me a gift card to show that the management team appreciated all the hard work and overtime i put to make things work and cover for the missing team member.

i would like to thank the management team for the gift card and dont know what to write. Please help.

I would consider just a short note, stating something like: "Thank you so much for the gift card. It will be great for [fill in something that you will use it for. ' just something that makes sense given whatever type of gift card it is] It means a great deal to me to know that I am a valued member of the team.

I would consider just a short note, stating something like:

"Thank you so much for the gift card. It will be great for [fill in something that you will use it for. ex: if it is a restaurant gift card, you could put something like 'the next time my wife and I go out to eat.' just something that makes sense given whatever type of gift card it is]
