Thank you a million?

Is the phrase "Thank you a million" appropriate to use in business letter?

Top answer

No. Thanks a million is a very informal thing to say between friends. Although I would send it (thanks, not thank you, a million) in a work-releated e-mail, it would only be to someone I considered a friend as well as a coworker.
