Thank goodness

Is the expression "thank goodness" often used in daily conversations? Something tells me that it is slightly antiquated. Thanks in advance!

I say and hear it quite often, although probably not from young people.

I'm 35 years-old now, and is it weird for me to say the expression? I'm not sure whether I'm still young enough not to use it.

Here in the UK, it is a normal and familiar expression. I would not think it at all weird for anyone of any age to use it.
