THANK GOD

Hello! I really need help!

I was told that the sentence "Thank God! The course is over!" is wrong but I don't know why. Will someone explain it to me, please?! Thank you in advance!

There is nothing wrong with it, except it is two sentences. You usually see it written differently, though: "Thank *** the course is over!"

MarcelaMCI was told that the sentence "Thank ***! The course is over!" is wrong but I don't know why.

Because it is not one sentence. It is two sentences. The exclamation point (!) is ending punctuation. The capitalization is correct. Each sentence is grammatically sound.
