"Than I" or "Than me" constructions

This post is meant for those learning English. I know the answer. This post is inspired by a prior post here.

Situation: There's a family with a mom and dad and a son and a daughter.

The son is talking with a family friend.

1) Son: "She looks more like our dad than I."
2) Son: "She looks more like our dad than me."

Which of those two is correct and why? Or, are they both correct and why?

After a few people have answered, I will chime with some helpful comments. Good luck!
