Than

Hi, I've got the following sentence

He will study with friends much more often than will his brother.

Here "will" is put immediately after "than" and it is an abbreviated sentence.

If I'm going to give the full sentence, should it be

He will study with friends much more often than his brother will study with friends.
or
He will study with friends much more often than will his brother study with friends.

Which sounds better?
Thanks!
