Is it OK to avoid articles while texting?

As long as the person who receives your test knows what you mean, and doesn't get annoyed, do what you want.

"Running late. Be there soon. LY" is enough to say "I am running late and will be there soon. Love you."

However, I still use articles. And punctuation.
