I have been taking advantage of another text reader to improve English pronunciation and listeing, I installed panopreter which is a free text-to-speech software, it reads with default Microsoft voices on Windows, I run it on Windows Vista, so I listen to Microsfot Anna's reading, it sounds very good. Meahwhile, I create audiobooks with this software, then listen to the mp3 audio files using a mp3 player. I think this free one is very good tool to improve your pronunciation.
