You may remember I submitted a text last year which was meant to serve as an introduction to a calendar. I've been asked to do the same again, and so here is my piece, which I would like to have checked. Thanks in advance!

"Tulips are noble and elegant flowers, held by a slender stem that rises from a clump of silvery green leaves. For a few days their petals swamp whole spaces with colour and even when great numbers of these flowers set spring flowerbeds on fire, there remains a delicacy of hues that seems to be ablaze only when the sun shines on them directly.
A calendar of tulips is an invitation to enjoy the beautiful moments of each day, knowing that they are as fleeting as that beauty that blooms in spring, rejoices us, and soon fades. As this flower which is unique because each bulb produces only one, unique is also every moment of our time and we ought to appreciate it for the delicate hues with which it is painted."
