Tetra-ethyl lead or tetraethyl lead

I am confused with the double use of this terms (with and without hyphen). Which is correct?

It depends on which naming conventions you use. The IUPAC nomenclature for that compound is tetraethyllead or tetraethylplumbane. Note that even 'lead' is joined without a hyphen directly to the rest of the word. IUPAC nomenclature does not typically use hyp
