Hi, I'm currently studying for a TESOL degree.
Can somebody help me with this?
Question:
1. What is the correct answer
2. What is being tested in this sentence?
3. Why is the answer provided the correct one (grammatical explanation.)

Yes, apologies. It was supposed to ready 'got'
The correct answer was obvious, but I struggled with 2. and 3.
