"Terms and conditions apply; ask for details" or "... apply. Ask..."

Hi there.
I was hoping someone would be able to let me know if a semicolon or period is more apt.
Would it look like this:
Terms and conditions apply; ask for details.
Or like this:
Terms and conditions apply. Ask for details.

Thank you in advance.
