Terms

Hi.

Well, obviously they have the choice of accepting the very favorable terms that another company-- KMG Plc-- have given to buy them out.

What does the underlined part mean?

"Terms and conditions" are specifications and considerations which are proposed and accepted by both parties when they sign an agreement. I am sure you have installed software where you had to mark a check box agreeing to the terms and conditions of using the application. "Favorable terms" means that the agreement is a "good deal" for one of the parties.
