What do you call the type of social worker who helps families? Could you, please, tell me?
(For ’’family helper”, I found other meanings as well /like help with fertility issues/, so I’m not sure it could, for instance, be used unambiguously.)

I think "Family Social Worker" is the most general phrase
If it is particularly a question of the children in the family, then "Children's Social Worker" is also used - I believe this is used in connection with adoption or foster care
If it is a serious concern about a child in the family (i.e. the possibility of abuse) then, in the UK, it is "Child Protection Social
