Tenses used to answer PP continuous

Hi teachers,

A: What have you been doing in the last few weeks?

B: I have been watching a drama series, which I started in the beginning of this year. After coming home from work every night, I would catch up on the show on DVR which had recorded the show at eight in the evening.

Would you correct the sentences and the tense usage? The show is still ongoing so I don't know the tenses used to answer "in the last few weeks".

Thank you

TN
