Tenses URGENT help needed

Please help this person. she is my friend but i cant help her because im hopeless at english too..

This is her problem:

"Hello im needing help with tenses

Everytime we were asked to write an essay, tenses seem to be the problem and clumsy expressions too. Can you please suggest to me ways in which i can learn which tense to use in my writing?
I am not good at the English language. It is probably my worst subject at school. So can you please help me with tenses? please?

My final exam are coming up too so i need help SOON!
I really, really, really, really need to pass English so I can do Higher English and this is a requirement for the course Im going to apply to in university.

Please. If anyone could help me. I'll be really glad Emotion: smile
