Question

Hello.I'm writing a report for my English classes.Can you check the tenses.please?

One of the main reasons for the financial crisis is the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. Its leaders have decreased the interest rate and investors have begun to search for places where they can increase their profitability. The fiscal policy of the American Government also bears a responsibility. Expenses have risen and so does the indebtedness of the country. The third fault is the subsidization of big companies because they have started to give credits even to people who can hardly return them.

I will only make some suggestions for the tenses. Some of the other words (underlined) you might want to think about. One issue is when the companies gave out the bad loans, or investors searched for higher returns. - this was in the past, several years ago. They did not just start the practice, as implied by using the present perfect tense. So either use past, or past perfect.

The fiscal policy of the American Government also bears much of the a responsibility. Spending has increased ~~Expenses have risen~~ and so has ~~does~~ the indebtedness of the country.

I'm not clear what you are trying say here.
The third fault is the subsidization of big companies because they have started to give credits even to people who can hardly return them.

Possibly something like this?
The third problem is that big lenders are having to be subsidized as a result of granting credit to people who they knew could not repay the loans.

An aside here in the interest of completeness and accuracy.
The bad loans were made as a direct result of federal government law and policy.

I get scared sometimes too. But when I was in school, our nation was in a cold war - we had to build bomb shelters in our homes, schools and towns because of the threat of nuclear war. Those times were very scary. In my father's time, our nation was in a huge world war. Many millions of people were killed. Towns and cities were being bombed. Those times were very scary, too. In my grandfather's time, there was a great depression. Many people lost their jobs, many more than today. Many people lost their homes and farms. The banks failed. Those times were very scary, too. In my Great-great grandfather's time, there was a horrible civil war. Many people were killed in the north and south. He was captured by the enemy army and put in prison. My great-great grandmother had no news of him for months and months. She didn't know if he was alive or dead. After the war, they had nothing. Their land and homes had been burned, even the forest animals - squirrels and rabbits - had been killed.
So there have been scary times during all times and all ages. In each generation, my family had love for their children, hope for the future, worked very hard, and helped each other. They all survived and learned many lessons - love for each other, helping others who have less than they have, and most of all, keeping hope in their hearts.
We can learn from them. Love your family. Help your friends. Work hard in school. Learn about history. I truly believe that times will get better, too, just as they did in the ages of our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
