Tenses & Pronouns

NS, world-leading manufacturers of unique nanoparticle characterization technology, will be launching (is this tense appropriate here or it is better to write : will launch) two extremely sophisticated nanodevices called NS DT and NS DP. Scientists at NS have developed (or developed?) nanodevices that play major role when the body first detects a virus and can even prevent infection, or are used (I left out the pronoun they and put the comma before or; is this alright?) to speed up drug development process.

Thanks in advance for comments.
