Tenses and pronouns

I keep thinking about the girl, the chair she was sitting on and the food she was eating. Hesitating a moment, I rise from my seat, these images flashing through my mind.

Are both correct in terms of tenses and have I used the right pronoun to match the main tense in the sentence?
