Tenses?

I bought/have bought eggs from the market, sure as eggs is eggs.

Which is correct, bought or have bought?

Both are fine because there is no mention of a time when this happened. If you had added something like "yesterday", then only "bought" (not "have bought") would have been possible. CJ

Both are fine because there is no mention of a time when this happened.

If you had added something like "yesterday", then only "bought" (not "have bought") would have been possible.
