tenses

Hello,

Could you please tell me if the tenses in these sentences are correctly used? The excerpts are taken from a text on how the Internet affects people's lives. Thank you:-)

1)Social media is spreading narcistic and antisocial behaviours.
2) Partners are too preocuppied with their virtual lives and are not focusing on one another. They are stopping to share their lives and are not showing their emotions.
