Tenses

Hello,
Could you please tell me if the underlined tenses are correct? I would use Present Simple. The sentences come from a text devoted to family problems. Thank you!

1) When divorced, adults are paying attention only to their plight, forgetting their children who in such a situation are trying to attract their parents' attention.
2) When adults are still drinking alcohol, children are following their example.
3) Even if parents are properly bringing up their children without TV and the Internet which are conveying inappropriate information, these media can be accessed easily.
4) Children are looking at their parents' behaviour and then they are transferring it to school.
