Ok guys

what should i say or write?

i want to go bed after i have taken a shower.

or

i want to go bed after i take a shower.

i would normally say the first one but also i could say the second one.

which one would you guys recommend?

You should say 'go to bed'. Both 'take' and 'have taken' are possible there but the first one is much more common. BTW, with 'want' you make it sound as if somebody wants you to do something else , rather than go to bed.
