Grammar

tenses

Hi everybody
could you please correct the tenses in this paragraph

Yesterday, I (to go) went to the market but I wish I (to stay) stayed at home, because I (not to enjoy) didn't enjoy myself. All the shops were closed. If they (to be) were open, I ( to buy) would buy a lot of things.

but my friend did it in another way

Yesterday, I (to go) went to the market but I wish I (to stay) had stayed at home, because I (not to enjoy) didn't enjoy myself. All the shops were closed. If they (to be) had been open, I ( to buy) would have bought a lot of things.
Which one is correct?
Thanks in advance

This is the correct version:
Yesterday, I went to the market but I wish had stayed at home because I didn't enjoy myself. All the shops were closed. If they had been open, I would have bought a lot of things.
