Tenses

The first requires more text to be correct: it requires another past event occurring before now and after the occupation. The second is fine: it states a past fact.

How about this one:

"Im sorry for having texting you only now cos I had been occupied in school and in some other work."

"Im sorry for having texting you only now cos I was occupied in school and in some other work."

I'm sorry for texting you only now because I have been occupied in school and in some other work. -- 'Had been' is no good because there is only one past action; present perfect is a good choice, though.

Not really. The acceptable phrases are 'I apologize' and 'My apologies'.
