tense that follows "would have made"

Hi,

Is this correct? What kind of tense is available as suitable tenses after the phrase "might have made"?

He might have made some mistakes that would make no material impact on the message of the speech.

How about this that I found in the Google Book serach? Why "would have lost" to put it into the past contect? How about just "would + bare infinitive"?
